The costumer is the Italian international airport of Orio al Serio, located 5 km away from the center of Bergamo and 50 km from the center of Milan.
The need was to implement a messaging system for information to users on departures and arrivals (ads related to the board times) and service announcements (info Storage, duty free, etc. etc.). The Customer also has expressed the desire for a consultation of departures and arrivals through telephone.
The solution included:
- Implementation and configuration of a product-to-speech (TTS or text-to-speech) that could guarantee a multilingual support and output of information varied view of the dynamism of the data present at the airport.
- Implementation of a service for updating tables schedules, airports and airlines.
- Creation of a web interface for the management of messages and their translations, for the activation of the messages from the departure gate (which can still be done by phone), for the invitation to board etc. etc.
The solution can be integrated with the systems of International lost luggage and it is indipendent from the telephone system
The system developed allows the customer to benefit from a scalable solution complementarily and TCP / IP.
