Microsoft Lync

Microsoft Lync is a platform designed to simplify communication among users wherever they are.
It contains in one solution all forms of communication (audio, video, chat and data).

  • The availability of contacts is acquired by Microsoft Outlook that is integrated to calendars managed by Microsoft Exchange Server
  • The lists of contacts can be acquired from a Microsoft Exchange server in the local network
  • Uses TLS and SRTP protocols to encrypt and protect the traffic between client and server
  • It allows files sharing
  • Allows you to collaborate across a blank page for notes, drows or imported images on which the meeting participants can work together
  • It allows you to interact simultaneously during a PowerPoint presentation. Participants can not change the presentation, but they can interact with it by adding notes, drawings or graphics
  • The meeting organizer can create surveys and participants in the meeting can vote and see the results
  • Desktop sharing allows participants to interact with the session organizer
  • Application sharing allows participants to interact with only one application
